There are different types of spiritual healing, but all of them are holistic, and they focuses on the mind, body, and spirit. It can mean different things to different people though; but generally speaking, you could look at spiritual healing similar to counselling that brings intuitive guidance and higher awareness, and a much more open minded approach to things.
Spiritual healing also takes into consideration a persons mindset, their emotional state and their self belief from a spiritual viewpoint. This type of healing takes a modern approach, and a higher consciousness approach to trauma and other forms of hurt, suffering and pain.
It includes transmutational techniques which are specifically designed to help people to see that not only does everything happen for a reason, but also that even if an experience is difficult and heartbreaking, there’s always something to learn from it, and there’s always different way to see everything. To practice spiritual healing with your hurt and trauma’s would be too complex to completely cover here in detail, but a simple way to put it would be to commit to a spiritual path. Set the intention to change and transform your life, then do things differently. Take a look at your life objectively and learn who needs to be removed from your life, and who holds you back. It’s ok to remove people from your life, if they hold you back from moving on and healing. The next thing is to really work on your perception and the way you understand and even look at the past. Prepare for change, because if you want different, then you must do things differently. Although this is not your fault, something must change within you to want to heal, and to actually do things differently.
We often look at people in our past and past events with negative emotions that hold us back. What we need to do is to take another look at that with a higher awareness and perception with a fresh perspective, because it’s not actually happening to you at all, it’s happening for you. Look for this truth, and you will find it. Try not to judge people when you take a look at your past, don’t judge them for how they treated you, and try to understand and accept that they’re also hurt, and they’re acting how they were taught to act; it’s the only way they know. That doesn’t make it right, or ok, but forgiveness with it really does change the ball game. But the thing is, you’re not condining them or their actions when you forgive them, you’re forgiving them because they’re hurt too and they’re unable to heal. So, you’re forgiving them not for them, but you’re forgiving them to set yourself free from them.
Physical Healing
With that in mind, there’s also physical healing techniques like Reiki, Pranic Healing, Crystal Healing, Healing Touch and so on. They can help a person’s physical body to heal, and make their ailments less harder to bear. Spiritual healing can make things seem so much different, because it teaches us to look at things differently, and that our mindset can influence our physical pain. So many ailments are caused by stress, anxiety, depression, and if we can get the balance right, then those things can be treated.
Soul Healing
Then of course, there’s our soul to take into consideration. After a lot of trauma and heartache, our soul can feel tired, wounded or even destroyed. But it doesn’t ever have to be absolute, it’s never too late to heal. Anyone can heal if there desire is great enough.
