People tend to act the way they feel, and quite often hurt people, hurt other people. If someone is having a bad experiencing, sometimes they can feel that it’s affecting them tremendously.

That person can then act differently towards people, which can also affect trauma. There’s a lot of ways that trauma can affect people, but understanding is important to the healing and prevention of it.

Trauma is an emotional response to an event or situation that is extremely disturbing and distressing to a person. It sometimes comes from an isolated or single incident, but it can also come from multiple, or a series of events. Either way, if the impact is severe, then we tend to emotionally respond to it, and the result is trauma.

Sometimes trauma is a short term thing, and other times it’s more long term. But short term trauma does not in any way mean it’s less severe, it’s just an indication of how severelly it still affects us. Regardless of what type of trauma it is, or whether it’s long term or short term, it can affect our mental, physical, and spiritual health, and that can affect, or influence the way we interact with people, and the way we think and behave.
